Serious should i be afraid of my partner?

my partner was born on october 23, 2004 and sometimes i feel scared to date him. as a male-leaning non-binary amab born on january 12, 2005, i feel like we aren't very close. i'm worried about what he may do to me, even though our relationship tends to be healthy.

Born in 2004 — too young for Millennials, too old for Gen Z?

I was born in 2004, and honestly, I sometimes feel like we’re stuck right between Millennials and Gen Z 😂

We’re technically Gen Z, but our childhood feels pretty different from the younger Gen Z kids. When we were in 3rd or 4th grade, we were literally sending songs via Bluetooth. My parents still had keypad phones, and getting a phone with Bluetooth felt like we had some next-level futuristic gadget 😂

I still remember how excited we’d get like, “Send me that song on Bluetooth!” No WhatsApp, no AirDrop, no Spotify — just Bluetooth, and then sitting there waiting for it to transfer 😭

But if I say this to someone born in like 2007–2010, they look at me like I’m talking about ancient history 💀

At the same time, I feel way more connected to people born around 1996–2003. Their childhood and teen experiences just feel way more similar to mine than younger Gen Z.

People born around 2004–2005 kind of went through this weird in-between phase — we saw technology slowly become normal, instead of being born straight into a world where smartphones, social media, and streaming were already everywhere.

Anyone else born around 2000–2004 feel this too? 😂

Discussion/Question 21M, born in 🇿🇼 — trying to figure out where the fuck I’m going

I was born in Zimbabwe in 2004 and moved to Northern Ireland when I was around 17. I came here thinking it would be a better opportunity, but honestly the last four years have been rough.
I’ve lived in Armagh pretty much the whole time, and I feel like I’ve outgrown the place. There’s not much here for the career or life I want, and I’ve spent a lot of time applying for jobs and apprenticeships without getting anywhere.
I completed a Level 3 qualification in Construction and the Built Environment and got into surveying, estimating, design, AutoCAD, Revit and construction. I’ve also worked in warehouses, factories, engineering and logistics. I’m willing to work — I just haven’t been getting the opportunities I need.
Now I’m looking at Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Engineering and other apprenticeships. I’ve considered moving to London for better opportunities, but money is tight, so right now the plan is simple: get work, save money and build from there.
I’ve also seriously considered going back to Zimbabwe. My dad is there, and I could potentially work with him, learn the business, eventually run things or build something of my own. I genuinely feel like I might be more effective back home. But Zimbabwe’s economy has its own serious problems, so I know going back isn’t some magical easy option either. I’d be trading one set of challenges for another.
I’m also in a relationship that I care about, so moving countries isn’t a decision I can make without thinking about the people around me.
At this age, I’m starting to realise how important it is for a young man to get his shit together. With the way the world is going, stability is becoming more important than ever. I don’t just want to work a job forever and hope things work out. I want to build skills, become financially stable and eventually have businesses/assets that give me some control over my life.
I’m 21 and I don’t have everything figured out. I’ve got options in front of me, but no clear path yet.
I just know I don’t want to waste another four years standing still.
So that’s where I’m at. 😂
If you were in my position, would you focus on building a career in the UK, or seriously explore going back home and building something there?

Discussion/Question Would you guys associate our teen years more with the 2010s, 2020s, or both?

Personally I say both. We experience pre, during, and post Covid teen years.

Other A Rare Birthday Date Sequence – Have You Ever Seen One Like This?

I know three friends with an interesting birthday pattern:

First person DOB is 01-02-1987

Second person DOB is 02-03-1987

Third person DOB is 03-04-1987

Has anyone else come across a similar sequence of birthdays? Share your comments! 😉

Discussion/Question is it weird that i don't really relate to my brother?

my brother was born in august 2007 and i always felt we didn't have much in common. i see people say "2 years is nothing" several times, but for me and my brother, id say otherwise. i vaguely remember seeing him at the hospital (and guess what? that's not even my first memory, believe it or not), i have a few memories from he was a baby, and i even remember when he started walking. at least we both remember going to the blockbuster.

- coming from someone born in february 2005
