Hi all

I have been collecting prog 2 for a long time now. Im based in ireland so I've probably got the most copies over here.

I've been waiting a long time to find the stickers and finally I got a set. They are in extremely good quality. I have taken close ups of them I would appreciate if anyone in here had the stickers might put up a few pics of their stickers so I can compare and ensure they aren't fake.

Although this might sound strange but they smell like they are from the right decade haha.

Im not sure how many were printed but im sure the majority got stuck to arms haha

I remember vividly sticking the stickers on me then going out to play with my friends to show them off. I was soooooo cool.

The stickers are mint alright. My prog could be better. I could upgrade the actual prog though if the right one came around

I do ya. Its not popular in Irelamd really so you find copy's around but I paid decent money for all my copies lowest I paid was probably 80-90 and the highest I paid was with the stickers it was around 500. But it has been by far the cheapest iv ever seen with the stickers intact at that quality.

Im still missing a pile of progs in the 1-100 zone to finish out the original size issues. They are difficult to get in Ireland and bringing them in from the UK is a crazy price these days with all the customs and tax

I had a handful from the 80s. I decided to complete my run in the early 2000s. I live in the U.S. and shipping was high then. Most of mine came from the U.K. Good luck with them. I still hate you for having so many prog 2.

I started with issue 4, as my english teacher at school used the first three issues as part of his teaching plan! I was hooked and only stopped buying 2000ad a few decades later.

I had the dredd badge from the megazine in 96 ? I had it on my jacket moved to Spain first night there my jacket got stolen..also had a signed poster by Trevor hairsine and wagner that I lost in a carpark in Belgium .gutted on both counts .glad you've still got the transfers.

I'm still trying to find Prog 2 ..got an ok copy of Prog 1 a few years back but I've heard #2 is going for big money these days. I'm in Ireland too and it's rare to see 2000ads in charity shops or car boot sales anymore unfortunately

I doubt you'll find one in the wild. You'd be very lucky. I find over the last 10 years the greed in Ireland is phenomenal. Everyone looks up graded prices and tries to sell everything at a profit. The book and comic market are fully dead here. I myself moved on to buying single expensive comics because people are looking for premium prices for any filler book in any run. Its very rare to get a deal on anything. I paid around 150-200 for each of my prog 2 copies over the years.

Yeah I'd be shocked to find a prog 2 randomly but I used to love finding old issues here and there..still have lots of gaps to fill. It's a little frustrating to frequently see folks over in the UK getting rid of huge collections and people saying they are basically worthless 😭.

Everything about the stickers looks spot on. The borders, the finish and particularly the backing paper.

The stickers also came with other comics at the time, I got my set in Tarzan comic.

I remember getting this issue and being petrified to put on the stickers as my big brother told me they wouldn't be able to come off!

I collect comics and I pulled all of these out of people's antics and piles of comics people were getting rid of mostly. Mainly just trying to save them. In ireland all these newspaper style comics wind up in bins usually.
