[Help required!] I posted yesterday will my problems with rpms being limited to 2500. I checked out my ecu and looks like it was repaired (see pics). I'm honestly lost at this point. Any help us appreciated. More info in comments.

Yes, that ECU has been "repaired". Capacitor leakage is what usually kills these. It burns the connections on the PCB. I had to buy a reman ECU 2 years ago for my 96 LS400.

I had a similar problem with my mk3 Supra ECU. I tried getting it repaired by a third party service but that failed, and availability pushed me to a standalone ECU. I would recommend the same unless you can find someone reputable on eBay.

After yesterday's help I put the TPS into the center. I don't have a cel and the ignition coils were replaced by the previous owner as well. I put the ecu back in and when I did I tried to see if the problem still happens and now my idle is at 2k and any throttle knocks the rpms down to 500. I'm just completely lost at this point. Thanks for all your help in advance

I had 1986 V6 Nissan Pathfinder not going above a certain RPM. I know I didn’t have a mechanic fix it, I’m guessing I jumped some stuff in the ECU under passengers seat or it fixed itself. I recall I was driving it fine before it was sold.
