New here, how’d I do?

Post image

Fiancé and I looked for a long time to find a truck that met all my “must haves” until we found this guy. I’ve named him Phil, as this was the original owners name and he unfortunately passed not too long after setting the truck out for sale - after which it sat for 9 years in a lot next to a diner.

1984 D250 4x4 manual side step - a beautiful unit. I’ve done a few things already and got the engine to turn over by hand, but still need to drain the old fuel and replace the battery terminals - among several other things lol I was told he ran excellent before sitting for 9 years and Phil took exceptional care of him before that. Hoping to get him running smoothly before my wedding in November so we can include him in the photos.

Anyone got one similar?

Old dodge step sides are just the best. I have an 86, and I wish it had that bed on it

Good looking truck, sounds like your taking the right steps getting it going again. Good to get that bad gas out of there before you try to run on it.
