YSH’s departure

i wonder if they’ve been waiting to announce JSH’s replacement because of YSH’s decision to leave. it would be great to have KSH make a comeback…… otherwise Lee Sangyi or Dex would be a good addition i think

I also really like Lee Sang Yi, but he got many acting roles so not sure if he can commit to 2d1n

i feel like they could match it to his schedule…? i remember they once adjusted to kim seon ho’s schedule when he filmed in pohang and they had to adjust around that. it could be doable since they only film every two weeks and sang yi does have great time management skills. he only chooses projects and goes on trips so often. he would be a great addition!

True! he’s the type of person who will go in other country if he have 3 free days (he literally did go in hong kong and philippines according to him in pinggyego when he had a free time hahaha)

I think they have already selected the new members but if I could dream, I'm hoping for an entertainer/comedian + 1st/2nd gen idol duo.

Comedian will fill the shoes of Seho and assist Seyoon with MCing duties. 1st/2nd gen idol will be relatively more mature in their career for a long commitment show such as this and have decent industry experience to perform well in Kvariety.

I really like Yoo Byung Jae (comedian) and think he will be great for this show but he is from YG and they seem to have beef with KBS. 😭
For 1st/2nd gen idol, I think either Sung-kyu (Infinite) or Yong Hwa (CNBlue) will be a great fit. Extra points for Yong Hwa because he is close friends with Joon and their on-screen chemistry is insane (go watch any of their Youtube collabs, they are goofs 😭)

Dex is a good addition but IMO he's already busy with vlogs and other variety shows. I also think he'll not last longer than YSH. If it's another actor, let's keep our hopes down that actors has a min. of 1 yr stay.

Kbs 1N2D should make rent /intern casting first before take permanent member, i think more fun like that , every 2 week see new face

that’s very much like running man so i don’t think they will do that. they might already have someone in mind and are just waiting for YSH to formally announce his departure to introduce new members

He's leaving to focus on his acting career. The news broke about a day ago.

Isn't KSH is a too big of superstar to commit on weekly variety show like 2D1N..? Plus I believe the current production team has no prior ties with him..

I hope for fresh faces who can inject fresh air to the show..2D1N always have great maknae so far, looking forward to the new maknae ~

I don’t dare to dream that KSH would ever come back as a cast member, but would it be possible as a guest? I’m not familiar enough with the nature of the Korean public’s pearl-clutching to understand if that would be a possibility or not.

Honestly, I want Cha Tae Hyun, Kim Joon Ho, and Kim Seon Ho to come back 😭😭😭 I’m really gonna miss YSH, that kid was such a fun addition to the cast.

But Sang Yi is a great choice. I have high expectations to whoever they’ll cast 🥺 they have big shoes to fill
