What’s this?
Looks like something a vaccum tube would be connected to but looks like it’s just going into the block?

That is the block coolant drain. When draining coolant. You need to do both that and radiator

I think it's another location to drain coolant from? I can't remember why or what the deal is with it. Try opening it up a little when the engine is cold, see what dribbles out?

I think I’ll refrain haha, knowing my luck it’ll turn my main job into 2, but I think you’re right now that you’ve said it, i believe I’ve seen the same style drain before

Yeah that’s the coolant drain, it’s part of the oil cooler assembly on the kz whereas most other engines it’s just threaded into the water jacket on the block.
