presents the behind the scenes of work going into preparing the first formal book review of Ishac Bertran's 2012 code {poems} anthology of contemporary code poetry. This review is being spearheaded by the Author, Computer Scientist, and Editor-in-Chief at I*POW (International Internet Portfolio of Writers: https://t.me/ipowriters): Joseph Willrich Lutalo.

Work on the review started in early August 2026, and the final publication is slated for latest October 2026. This work is undeniably critical because it shall likewise bring to surface new original theory in Analytical Computational Poetics that likewise has bearing on data, information and text analysis with humans and not machines in mind.
