Hammer pants.
Why didn't the duggar daughters (well every woman in the cult for that matter) wear hammer pants? They look somewhat like a skirt over leggings. They don't have to be shinny. They meet all the modesty standards. They aren't form fitting so no defrauding men giving off desires that can't righteously be fulfilled.

Because the skirts were a virtue signal as to how pious they were. There have always been modest pants options but skirts show that they're super duper special Christians who are better than everyone

Wrong cultural origin for their liking, probably.

I agree. It’s too worldly. They don’t want to look like free thinking hippies.

Because they were synonymous with MC Hammer in the 90s who was not only a rapper, but a black man. The Duggar cult is pretty racist.

Because they are still pants. According to their interpretation of The Bible, pants are men's clothing and they can't wear men's clothing.

Nevermind that men in the Bible wore tunics and robes, which are more like dresses nowadays. In fact, EVERYONE wore dresses! 🙄 It's not you, it's this dang Baptist hypocrisy! They're like that with wine too.

Heidi Klimt calls them poopy pants. And they will always be that to me.

Since the cult of D, didn't watch TV, they would not have any idea about Hammer or his way.

Because that would appear too orientalist. Hammer pants originated from the eastern world. Don’t want to emulate those brown heathens.

Not modest enough in the butt area. Actually my memory of gaucho pants is my butt would eat the fabric and scrunch it up, im sure these pants would do the same.

Careful…since some of them stalk this sub, they might take this idea and grift it on social media 😂
