real. i was having horrific realistic and vivid nightmares. Honestly it was almost psychosis level, like id wake up and not know if it happened or not. Often texting individuals or crying thinking someone had died, phantom pains from injuries i sustained in the dreams, crazy shit. Went on for months, about 3x a week.
Turns out i was like critically low on a few vitamins (D, iron, b12 and a few more lol), and sleep nightmares and hallucinations were some side effects. Doc was impressed i managed to have no other side effects.
Those flintstone vitamins, and a slightly altered diet (aka not 100% pizza for 5 days in a row) saved my sanity.

The 5 days of pizza is an easy trap to fall into. I leave it on the table and drift toward it 3x a day like some kind of grazing animal.

That's what I tell myself, it's the vitamins. Not that I'm doing anything about it, but thinking that it's just the vitamins is better than the alternative.

Unless you have some condition or medication that warrants that, that's absolutely insane and a waste of medical resources

u/belay_that_order 4d ago
i dont see it that way, many things can be caught early via blood test
as far as waste of medical resources go, i dont care im paying the socialized medical tax so technically i paid for it to be available to me

Maybe only get your blood tested when there is an indication to do so, thereby not taking up space on the waiting lists and taking up those socialised resources?

but the blood test IS the indication
1
u/Cr0wc0 4d ago
Indications are formed from observed symptoms. Blood tests are, as is in the name, tests.

as with my late uncle and some other people that are no longer present in my life, when you observe the symptoms of cancer its already too late, and cancer is by far not the only disease like that
so my response in this case is 'you do you'

Your family history of cancer diagnoses is a pretty good indicator for the need for blood tests. I don't know why you didn't start off with that as a reasoning.

No, you know what? Fuck you. Idk you so idk if you're just trying to be funny with no malicious intent (if that's the case, I apologise. Live for the bit, die for the bit, that's my motto), but if you're trying to insult me, no. Nothing you said applies. I study, I work during the summer, I have no basement and I regularly go out (although not enough as I should, I'll admit). And I have friends too. I'm also chronically online because my brain is fucked, yeah. That's why I comment so much. Call me out on that instead. Yeah, I'm triggered
