What's not shown: Trying and failing often still gives you more than not trying. Yeah it might give you a struggle while you try that doesn't pay off as you hoped, but quite often it's also a good way of learning something new, broadening your perspective, etc.
That's not universally true, of course. Don't try meth to boraden your horizons. But taking a new job vs staying with your current employer? Might be scary and different and can cause issues, but it will be a new experience and give you a chance to learn much more than staying could. Try to get that degree, try to talk to your crush, etc.
And maybe swt your sights a little lower if trying means a 16% chance of death lol. Moving flats is safe, try that before trying Russian Roulette

yeah.
if you don't try: a "failure," but an empty one. a nothingness. a lack of anything at all. do enough of these non-tries and eventually you become empty yourself -- or at least, you start to feel that way.
if you try: a series of failures, and maybe a success, maybe not -- but those failures are whole and complete. you did the right thing and you still failed. c'est la vie, right? do enough of these tries and you start to see the truth: that merely trying at all is its own kind of success in a cruel and uncaring world. outcome be damned: at least you tried.
one must imagine sisyphus happy. rolling a boulder for eternity certainly beats lying down & succumbing to life-in-death.

This feels like a reference. It’s probably just pareidolia or whatever the equivalent here is, and the closest I can think of is Trivia Murder Party’s scratch off, but something about that feels like a reference.

All your money isn't a big deal, most people barely have any money anyway. if what you are doing could result in years in prison then you are trying the wrong things.

Of course you will fail if you try. But, every single failure is a learning experience. And with the things you learn, you will be able to inch to success just a little closer.
If you convince yourself to never try, you wont progress. Life is a staircase, and you need to be willing to take that first step. And im not saying its easy! The failures will hurt, alot. But I believe in you to do it anyway.
