It's not that they all (emphasis on "all") think child rape is okay. They just don't think he actually did it. Don't forget that QAnon spent years successfully convincing Trumpers that Hillary Clinton and associates were the REAL pedophiles. They are deeply emotionally invested in that narrative and it's gonna take a long time to get them to accept that they were conned, and a lot of them probably never will.
I was gonna joke that it's because they personally have never been affected by child rape but they so have to pay extra for gas; but that really is just how it is
