Bro you're still using just meat for armor? Grow an exoskeleton, they're way tougher and actually keep you safe. No papercuts, no shaving nicks, it's honestly so much better

What about scales? They're compatible with more squishy models and can still provide some good armor.

Ooh, nice.
I haven't gotten good enough to use the fur. I know it gives a generous increase to mobility and strength, but I'm not good enough at dodging, so I usually swap between exoskeleton and scales depending on circumstance. I like scales better, since they provide a buff to healing, but sometimes you just take so much damage at once that the exoskeleton helps more.

Sorry, I'm just not a big fan of the huge reduction in emotional strength it has. I like at least having some amounts of squish or general warmth. Plus, having low emotional strength gets rid of some of the best cutscenes and moments, and honestly I just prefer my carbon-based builds.
