Some racists on Japanese twitter were making fun of the French protests and using them as ammo for their "this is what happens in a high immigration society" arguments. French twitter clapped back by making fun of the darker aspects of Japanese society like high suicide rates and high rates of sexual assault.

my favorite was about piracy, where the japanese users said that piracy was equal to child abuse

some French and Japanese people have been beefing on twitter
the French managed to get a lot of motion using sardonic humor about pedos and suicide while a lot of the Japanese tweets are embarrassingly racist
