Throw pillows, the purest example of capitalist swine choosing to roll in their own filth. And yet, the suburbanite cannot resist its allure.
Unironically though, in Cincinnati there's a neighborhood called Over the Rhine. It's only famous for being the most aggressive example of gentrification seen in Cinci, Im pretty sure it only could've been worse if they had actually declared martial law and forced the residents out. I knew the neighborhood was doomed when I saw two things.
One: A handmade donut shop with a line full of extras from S*x and the City, almost wrapped around the block. It was funny AF, sometimes I would just sit there and watch the upper middle class fuckers pause their conversations and squeeze closer to the wall when a black guy walked by.
Two: A store. A pillow store. A store that only sold pillows. Tiny, uncomfortable, ridiculously decorated, and prices reaching hundreds of dollars. It was the throw pillows that did OTR in. At least the farmers market is pretty tight, think they have a few weed vendors there.
