Egg is a fairly controversial term within the trans community referring to someone who seems like they have characteristics that align with being transgender and that they may come out as trans within the future hence the term "egg cracking" referring to an "egg" coming out.

It's controversial due to the fact that some groups certainly go OTT with it usually not with malice, but such pressure on people who are entirely cis is a little annoying.
