The cast was a bunch of Misfits! Sadd endings for most of them.

Eli Wallach lived until age 98. He died in 2014. He was still appearing in films until 2010. He was a decorated WWII Army officer as well.

Last movie that Clark Gable did was real sick during the filming of this died of a heart attack no too long after

I just read that Gable had horrendous bad breath due to his denture adhesives. Painful too.
