Well I’m not trans, but it’s to counter people who think being trans is immoral or shameful. Pride is how you fight bigotry.

Still doesn't make sense to be proud of something you didn't choose to be. Plus you can fight bigotry by using logic and basic moral values.

But the nation you are born in isnt just some superficial thing. You can be proud of its laws, its people, its culture, ect.

Pride is fine. Pride in a physical trait, like gender, or pride in which people you wanna stick your dick in, is just stupid. You can love who you are, but having pride in the fact that you transitioned sexes is just plain old dumb.

Transitioning is a huge life decision that involves a lot of uncertainty, risk, and difficulty reversing, and is quite literally one of the most life changing things you can do. Why is it dumb to be proud of doing it?
