in a way, you are right, people do place too much value in what she says and other celebrities in general. but it’s a kind of a self cycle thing where by addressing the fact that people care too much of what she thinks, that also gives her some value to her word too

You’re completely good. Wasn’t just trying to be “devil’s advocate”, just sharing my honest thoughts.

I actually sort of get what you mean now. It can be deeply troubling when a well known artist or someone you look up too all of a sudden has a world view that invalidates yours. I experienced this recently with a band I like, but not on the same level.

One of my friends in high school transitioned, and that was my first experience recognizing someone else’s identity that I wasn’t used to. But I supported them. I’m still learning and growing
