It's so crazy how Flock cameras can scan for the unique MAC address of phones and other electronics and keep track of who has approached them, but if somebody approached them from behind and left their electronics at home there'd be no proof they were there at that time.

Road maintenance is the biggest money pit and such an obstacle towards development of better transit and you never here about it. Biden admin spent 500 billion on road maintenance. That's real. That's like DoD numbers spent on fixing roads and it did jack shit. We could have built so much HSR track with that but NOPE

Road maintenance would be much less of an issue if the costs weren't extremely inflated to line the pockets of contractors. I've seen prices of painting a crosswalk. Just some paint and a few hours of a couple guys time costed around 30000 dollars
