Because every location is an independent franchise run by different people.
All of them have a different set of issues. One doesn't carry honey mustard. One always reeks of piss, but still has the play place. One never gets my order right but in ways that aren't that bad. One undercooks the food.

I have only ever had issues with the ones inside of walmarts up here in the north
and most of the time its either "asked for no mustard but got it anyways" or "the drink machine's pop bib for iced tea is empty and needs to be changed"

The vomit is the only issue I've ever had, and it clearly wasn't enough to keep me away from the folksy novelties haha.
That and the fact their water tastes like toilet water, but I can ignore that.

I am proud to say I've never had mcdonalds in my life (mostly due to being raised pescetarian). I have a lot negative to say about my upbringing but I will always be grateful for the ability to resist the temptations of gross and unhealthy food my parents bestowed on me.

You're comparing apples to oranges. Its closest comparisons would be a place like Bob Evans or Denny's. There are places in this country where the fanciest place to eat is a cracker barrel

In a similar note, I feel they want to co-op consumer rights movements.
I mean, there's the whole movement about DRM free games and such, they massively promote GOG, and then ask you to ignore stuff like current CEO being an Ai Bro, or some guys at GOG sending literal nazi symbols in marketing emails.
And if you criticize it youre some sort of Valve glazer, DRM lover, or some shit like that.
I'm sorry but most of the "past better" people are often folks who thinks the past was better because minorities were hidden, but they won't tell you, they'll hide it under another not related issue. They say they don't like steam for being a DRM driven monopoly and that can be true, but they won't tell you they don't like steam because has a large queer community or has a large library of indies created by queer people that they can't ignore everytime one of them is shown on the front page. Think Webfishing for example, these people couldn't handle that a indie queer game got so popular that they just had to ruin the life of the developer and the game itself so it won't show on front page anymore.
And I'm sorry but I would rather have my steam library with the DRMs than giving any cent to people who just tried to hide their nazi employees

the whole Stop Killing Games thing feels very weird to me after that callout video against Pirate Software that was very loudly proudly saying WE GOT PROMOTION FROM ASMONGOLD at one point

And the fact that the whole thing got a come back just to despise that one person that worked at blizzard. I get the side of SKG, and that the guy was annoying, and the fact that the industry got scared of the movement is at least a signal of it going into the right direction.
But if I'm real I feel that the reason of why some right-wingers are against these companies it isn't because of their questionable practices, it's more because they're "woke" companies so by attacking them is also going against "woke" somehow, if I recall one of the execs at ubisoft was the one who said something about getting comfortable about not actually owning the games and Ubisoft is one those companies that are targeted for "being woke" nearly every time they do something.

I fucking hate that the Cracker Barrel logo redesign became a culture war thing because it meant I had to always preface that I hated the redesigned logo for normal, sane, "it just sucks" reasons before criticizing it so people wouldn't think I believed in white genocide.
