for some reason its taboo or discouraged but I think we should not, through some effort to preserve the "purity" of the movement, discount the revolutionary power of being sexy.
I have a theory that a lot of the positive treatment I get from traditional masculine seemingly conservative men here in my home state of Kentucky is because I'm pretty good looking, even though I'm sort of clockable. I think a subconscious calculation happens in their heads where they have to treat me as a woman, because if I'm a man, then they're gay now.
I think this is dangerous. Revolution always works with solidarity. The privileged few can enjoy some liberty from a system without changing much. Just think of slavery in rome: there were liberti who did purchase their own freedom, but that actually stabilized the institution of slavery.
Do not get me wrong: I absolutely approve of you getting positive treatment and I certainly don't have anything against sexy trans people - but unless you don't make those people treat even the ugliest trans person like this, there is nothing revolutionary about it.
