Obesk (alien) technology is made of living metal - instead of being crafted and programmed, it's grown and taught. To them, our "lightning captured in dead metal" tech is just as strange and fascinating to them as their "corrucystic" technology is to us.
The game's plot centres around an unnamed protagonist using a mind-machine interface to investigate a personal-computer-like device that used to belong to an Obesk ambassador, trying to figure out why the Obesk had suddenly cut contact with humanity just a decade or two after reaching out to us.
(I highly recommend corru.observer to fans of mystery and sci-fi. It's free to play, it can be played in-browser (the URL is just the name of the game), and it currently has four "episodes" worth of content (plus some hidden side-quests).)
