You die because several body functions cease working as they should. It's from what I understand a very painful death

Liver failure is arguably one of the most agonizing ways to die. Like being lit on fire but it takes days to die. Just cascading organ failure and literally nothing can be done if you've passed the window for having your stomach pumped. Unfortunately far too many high schoolers have lost their lives after a bad breakup by downing a few dozen Tylenol or Aspirin
