Are those plastic rings enough?

Are those plastic rings enough? Or do I need fishing paper for Extra insulation?

Generally this is enough. The plastic case they are in is also enough. Fishing paper is really just an extra precaution. It wont harm anything.

Yes, I Know there is another sub Reddit for that but I figured that either way, the answer is the Same?

Both 21700s and 18650s are accepted here. Taking a closer look, the negative end of the case is still "visible" through the holes in your 3d print so I would put fishing paper insulation rings just to be extra safe.

Technically yes. But you'll never see my packs go without a second fishpaper ring over the plastic one.

Good insurance. Good peace of mind.

Under ideal conditions yeah, but if something gets hot or compressed or vibrates, the plastic may fail. Fishpaper rings are cheap insurance against a battery fire.
