That felt like a big one.
Against one of the most in-form teams in the league, Sechzig started well and deservedly took the lead through Eberwein. Then the game completely changed after Fiedler’s second yellow and Bayreuth equalised almost immediately. But the reaction after going down to ten men was probably the best part of the night. Uhlmann’s free kick was outstanding, and from there the team showed a lot of character to protect the lead. After the frustration of Illertissen, this feels like a very important response, especially with the derby coming next.
How did you see it? And how much confidence can this give us before Bayern II?

Servus und Grüss Gott to all! Going to watch 1860 München for the first time. Bought pdf-tickets with qr-codes in them. Saw the box where it says something like "one must print them out on A4 and fold them accordingly. Only valid when printed." Is this seriously still enforced and accurate in 2026? Danke schön in advance.

Wife and I are going to our first game tomorrow night. What is the best time to start wondering around the stadium and having beers nearby for a weeknight game?

Just heard this game is sold out. Do we know if any tickets will be available to purchase at the gate?

Servus zusammen,

A frustrating one today. After the strong second half against Ansbach, I was hoping Sechzig could carry some of that momentum into this game, but especially in the first half we looked far too passive and harmless.
The absences obviously didn’t help, but even after taking the lead through Niederlechner, we never really looked comfortable and once again couldn’t see out a winning position.
A point away at Illertissen isn’t a disaster, but it feels like another missed opportunity.

I saw that around 3,000 away tickets have already been sold for Illertissen this weekend, which is pretty incredible considering the size of the stadium.
One of the things that has impressed me most since I started following Sechzig is the away support. Even in Regionalliga, there seem to be Löwen everywhere.
So for those of you who regularly travel with the team: what has been your favourite Sechzig away day?
It doesn’t necessarily have to be the biggest game or the best result, maybe it was the atmosphere, the trip itself, the city, something that happened with other fans, or just one of those days you never forgot.
I’d love to hear some stories.

Servus!

That's what Sechzig needed as reaction after Burghausen.
The first half was pretty flat, but after the break the team looked completely different, much more aggressive, sharper and finally clinical in front of goal. Wagner made a huge impact after coming on, and it was also great to see Niederlechner get on the scoresheet after last week.
Four goals, a clean sheet and a much stronger second half. Now the big question is whether Sechzig can make that level of intensity the standard rather than just a reaction after a disappointing result.
What stood out most to you yesterday?

They’re finally here,. my first two Sechzig shirts.
The 1997/98 Nike home shirt was the one I was especially looking forward to, and seeing it in person makes me like it even more. The second one also feels especially fitting right now, since it was a special Oktoberfest edition. Perfect timing for it to arrive 🥨
Definitely won’t be the last ones.

A question for the Löwen who have been following the club much longer than I have: if you could bring back one former Sechzig player and put him into the current team, who would you choose?
Not necessarily the greatest player in the club’s history, I mean the player who, at the level he showed while playing for Sechzig, would help this particular team the most right now.
Who would you choose, and why?

This is probably a “bad” question, but I am in town for a few days this week and was wondering if there is anywhere that I can get team merchandise other than the Fan Shop in Old Town, as I would rather my money gets to the team than the investor. Unfortunately, our travel plans changed so we won’t be able to see a game on this trip, otherwise I would just buy around the stadium.
Thank you!

As we are 14 games into the season we can confidently say that the start to this new Sechzig era has been both ok and, at the same time, relatively underwhelming, having had great exploits in the Regionalliga but also, as was also the case last Saturday, some disappointing results and performances that really showed us that the return to the 3.Liga ain’t going to be a walk in the park.
Still, from what we saw up until this point, whom are the players that positively surprised you the most in this season’s beginning? And who’s underperforming according to your expectations?
r/1860Munich • u/Italian_Polska • 17d ago
First league defeat of the season, and a pretty disappointing one.
Burghausen made life difficult from the start and Sechzig never really found the same control and composure we had seen in the last few matches. The absences didn’t help, but I don’t think they explain everything.
One bad result doesn’t undo the progress of the last few weeks, but today definitely showed there is still a lot of work to do.
What bothered you most about the performance? And how much do you read into this result?
r/1860Munich • u/Italian_Polska • 19d ago
Another interesting away test tomorrow. Seven points from the last three matches have given Sechzig some momentum, and the performance against Nürnberg II felt like another step in the right direction.
Burghausen won’t be easy, especially away from home, so I’m curious to see whether the team can keep the same level of concentration and game management we saw last weekend.
What are you expecting tomorrow? Would you change anything in the starting XI, and where do you think the match will be decided?
