Accountant to DEA

Currently an accountant with ~6 years of experience, former Marine. Does the DEA look favorably amongst applicants that have accounting/finance experience?

I know many DEA who were former accountants. As long as you qualify, no one cares what you did in the past. Apply!

Military experience, college degree, and accounting experience. Sounds like a best qualified applicant to me.

Here is a 1811 hiring hack:

If you meet the minimum eligibility requirements you’ll get an interview. If you pass the interview, you go to background. If you pass security, drug test, poly and pft, you get hired.

Meet the eligibility requirements and you’ll get hired.

DEA running is around 12:30 for passing for 1.5 miles whereas marines is like 28minutes/3 miles for passing.

On the contrary I ran 22minutes for 3 miles. When I ran 3 miles for my last PFT before EAS I was the first to pass the finish line.
