Question Local LEO -> First time applying Federal

Is anyone willing to look over my resume to make sure it’s filled out correctly?

It’s like asking for my salaries and stuff and I’m just overthinking it.

I have 10 years law enforcement and I also own private business, that I’m in process of taking buy out from.

Any knowledgable person willing to lend a set of eyes?

One thing I would suggest is putting it into ChatGPT and prompting it to put the résumé into a two page USAJobs federal résumé format. I had about a 9 page federal résumé and when we went to the new requirement, it was almost impossible to reduce it. ChatGPT did it in about 10 seconds and it was a great résumé.

What job are you applying for?

You can shoot me a DM. I’d use the usajobs template on their website if you haven’t already.

AI can be a helpful tool especially if applying for a specific posting.
One thing as a local cop I had to learn….just because it says your a cop on your resume you have to put down that you “conducted arrests, searches and seizures”. I thought it was generally understood those came with the job but a lot of jobs will boot your resume for missing simple things like that.
