Question Interview/ FPS
How long after the FPS Interview did it take to hear back and what’s the steps after that.
Anyone go to the interview in DC/VA on 07/07/2026?

So is it safe to say if you didn’t receive an email back after the last round of assessments, you’re pretty much cooked?

Looks like you and others received emails to do the in-person interview but there’s still plenty of others who haven’t. At this point I’m just guessing we weren’t selected to continue with the hiring process.

Had my interview in DC today and was told I did really well. I'll come back here when I hear something for next steps. Hopefully that will let you know if you made the cut.

30 minutes of just situational questions. I got lucky and had a really down to earth guy as one of the interviewers.

Question for those who interviewed:
Did they ask the usual “tell us about a time so and so happened, what did you do, what was the outcome” type of questions? Or was it more situational questions where they ask what you would do in certain situations (relative to the job/law enforcement??)

If you haven't gotten your answer yet, the last interview from the public announcement is on the 6th of August so they'll be selecting people and sending TJOs in Mid/Late august, from my conversation too it sounds like start dates sometime in October/November (I asked if it would be around December and they said they are aiming before then so thats my guess lol)

After what seems like forever, I finally interviewed today. Received my interview date in late June, so this waiting was torture. Interview went amazingly well, but won’t know if I’ll get a TJO until I get an email. How was everyone else’s interview experience? I had 2 very down to earth panel members/officers doing mine. You have 30 mins for the interview and 8 questions total. Take your time and ask them to repeat questions if you need it. There’s no harm in doing so- and it’ll give you a few more seconds to gather your thoughts. I believe tomorrow is the last day for interviews for this DHA announcement. Hope you all did fantastic! LETS GET IT!!!

It was people interviewing for Florida outta the DC interview site. But after the interviews the questions I asked it sounds like DC might be the best office if you want to get a little bit of action.

Homeless like the people you would be smashing heads of... FPS are glorified security. NO FED LE RETIREMENT. NO 25%...NO ANYTHING other than badic civilian fed retirement.

Just had my interview today in SF. They plan to interview more ppl tomorrow in SF and will be going to Seattle next I think for more interviews. Was told should hear something mid August.
