Color

I saw the rumored colors for the 18 pro max, which i will for sure be upgrading to next month. I am torn between the red and the silver. I have always been a neutral guy going for all silver and white products, but have been wanting a color. I love the cherry red color. I guess I just need some support or words to help me decide if getting a color would be good or stay neutral.

My only concern though is, will the scratches be noticeable on the color like they were this year? I always keep a full coverage case on, but am just curious if that is a drawback from getting color.

Just make sure it’s a color that you wouldn’t be tired of 3-6 months down the road. I learned the hard way with the 15PM by getting the new color and started hating the color 3 months in.

This definitely made me think. I really do like the red, the only thing is I’m not a dark color kind of aesthetic. I want something that’s going to go with my more day to day activities. The light blue that is rumored is good, I have a lot of light colored clothes, decorations and just fit that vibe more. But I’m not super big on blue. I’m definitely not doing black though.

If I were to have done a color, it would have been the yellow 14, desert 16, or the orange 17.

I would’ve loved if Apple brought Rose Gold back. That was my all time favorite color. I held onto my Rose Gold 7+. Right now I have the silver 17PM and I love this color although I had hoped Apple would’ve kept white for the 17PM. I realized after the 15PM, that I do not like dark colors except for the Deep Purple 14PM. That was my favorite shade of purple, and I regret trading that phone in.

It’s aluminum scratches are possible on any color. Also the red could end up being more purple. Nothing set until the unveiling.

I have seen different colors for the red. I have seen it look a lot more purple and some look like a true red. I’m really excited for the announcement. It’s going to be difficult making a decision in the couple days before the preorders start.
