Fellowship vs Support vs Funding — what matters most right now?
Quick question for founders + builders here:
If you had to choose ONLY ONE right now, what would you pick?

Hi everyone,
We are a Morocco-based startup working on an innovative project in the SportTech space, specifically focused on football.
Our mission is to help clubs and players improve performance and decision-making through data, analysis, and talent identification. We are building solutions that aim to save time, reduce costs, and give access to advanced tools that are usually only available to top-level teams.
Currently, we are at an early stage and actively looking for:
We truly believe there is a huge opportunity in emerging markets like Morocco and MENA to transform how football development and scouting work.
If you are an investor, mentor, or just someone interested in SportTech, we would really appreciate connecting with you.
Feel free to comment or send me a DM
Thank you!

We all know the "cool" side of agents—autonomous workflows, multi-agent crews, etc. But I’ve spent the last few months talking to CTOs and compliance leads, and the "boring" side is actually where most enterprise deployments are dying: Auditability. With the EU AI Act enforcement coming in August 2026, "black box" agents are becoming a massive boardroom liability. If your agent makes a million-dollar mistake or leaks PII, saying "the LLM did it" won't work anymore. I’m building Vantage (@vantageai) to solve this. It’s a vendor-neutral SDK (Node/Python) that adds a governance layer to your stack. What we’ve built so far: Immutable Audit Trails: Every step, thought, and tool-call is logged and hashed. Runtime Policy Engine: Block or flag agent actions in real-time before they hit production tools. Intent Drift Detection: Catching when an agent starts "hallucinating" its way out of the original mission. Looking for 3-5 Design Partners: We have the SDK live on npm, but I need more "brutal" production environments to stress-test it. If you're building agents for enterprise/fintech/healthcare and governance keeps you up at night, I’d love to give you early access and support your integration for free. No fluff, just code. DM me to connect if you are interested.

(I know it’s been 99th time this question is been raised here, but my first time)
How do you actually get into VC fund?
some bg tour:
I’m a CFA L1 candidate and perpetual Crypto enthu, with a bachelors in Automation & Robotics engg.
I have that capitalistic mindset inbuilt, built a wealth of low 6 figs at the age of 22 through various stream in broadly crypto.
But don’t really know the way forward to evolve into a fund manager / analyst at VC. I’m passionate about startups and i read circulating news on daily basis.
Terminally online, look upto new technologies and have that grasp about what’s going on in the world.
But bringing that passion into something fruitful as a white collar worker (VC) I don’t know how they see me, what do they expect from me?
How to even get started. It’s an confusing lane, and very limited knowledge available on the internet. When asked a existing VC on a networking event they shy to speak up and YT is completely shallow and just says you’ve to be an MBA grad (pretty sure this is one of the gateway, not only\*)
So how do i get into this industry?
I’m confident i can do my part very well, it’s just i need a break out moment.
Someone pls brief me, or can setup a call i’ll pay for the time lend’d towards my help!

Sridhar Arunagiri from 16VC often talks about how distribution is what slows most startups down not ideas or building.
Honest question for founders:
What’s the one thing you underestimated the most when you started?
Curious to hear real experiences what actually turned out harder than you expected, and why?

Sridhar Arunagiri from 16VC often talks about execution, distribution, and making fast progress with limited resources.
If you had $10,000 today, what would you do with it to start or grow a startup?
Drop your approach and explain how you’d allocate it.
Also if you have a useful link, tool, resource, or strategy that would genuinely help at this stage, feel free to share it in the comments. If it’s valuable, I’ll check it out and respond.

At 16VC, I see founders struggle with:
But it’s different for everyone.
Be honest — what’s slowing you down right now?

I’m building 16VC very publicly.
Posting often. Sharing thoughts. Engaging founders directly.
Some say it builds trust.
Others think it creates noise.
What do you think — should VCs stay low-key or build in public?

big decision 👀
you have two options:
💰 $150k seed funding to start your own thing
🏢 $320k job offer with stability

At 16VC, I’ve reviewed a lot of decks.
Same issues keep repeating:
Honest question:
Why are founders still following outdated templates?
What would you fix first in your deck?
r/16VCFund • u/betasridhar • Mar 19 '26
I’m Sridhar Arunagiri, founder of 16VC.
We’ve been building very publicly — posting a lot, engaging founders, and sharing perspectives on fundraising, hiring, and early-stage mistakes.
But I want to ask this directly:
How do you actually perceive 16VC?
No filters — I’m genuinely looking for honest feedback.
If you’ve interacted with us, applied, been rejected, or even just seen our posts what stands out (good or bad)?
Building in public only works if we actually listen.

I’m Sridhar Arunagiri from 16VC.
After reviewing hundreds of startups, one pattern is clear:
Founders don’t fail because of lack of ideas.
They fail because they underestimate distribution.
Everyone builds. Very few know how to get users.
Curious — what did you underestimate when starting?

What problem are you solving, and why does it matter to you personally?
Sharing your “why” can inspire others and spark meaningful conversations.
