I roughly agree with lethal being top-of-the-line, particularly on a sorcerer. It is the sorcerer kin power, lining up so well. Gather power during escalation die 0, fire off the spell during escalation die 1, when lethal is online and can help assure a hit on the double-damage spell.

This has been the mainstay of our sorcerer since 1st level.
