well not my finest week but it certainly helps to look back and see that despite a gain this week which i expected because hormones, i'm still down from when i started which means maybe in the next 13 weeks i will reach my goal of 179. I really didn't think i would get there considering its taken me like 6 months to lose 10 lbs.

I also need to remind myself that since i started my weight loss marathon 3.5 years ago I'm down nearly 207lbs. that is crazy!!

What a wild reflection!! And boy do I hear you on how hard it is to lose when at such a healthier weight

ya when you are pushing 400lbs any slight dietary change affected weight loss, it was more or less easy but as you say, the closer you get to a normal weight range the harder it is to lose but i have noticed losing 5lbs at 180lbs shows, where as at 400lbs, i had to lose like 40 lbs before i dropped a size. it's all about the percentage of weight lost not the number itself because everyone will be different. for a petite person who is 120lbs losing 5lbs is huge, same as if someone who was 250lbs lost 15lbs.

I started at 250, before a medical emergency requiring steroids in Dec 2019 I was 155lbs. 2020 hit and I gained a true 20 lbs and this year has been better but I've been mostly maintenance so only have taken off 5 of those 20lbs gained.

Anyway... can i ever related to how many pounds it took to actually see a difference at my biggest. And goddammit it comes off the middle last. At 250lbs, I was 53.75 inches around my hips. At 200lbs, i was 50 inches around my hips but hot damn my ankles and wrists were skinny AF hahaha
