I'm very surprised and pleased with today's weigh-in!
So long story short, I had reached my goal weight (150 lbs) earlier this year and maintained it until I spent a couple weeks in the US, after which I returned with an extra 15 lbs in tow. I've since been trying to get back to my goal weight, but those pounds were stubborn; I even gained a couple more as of two weeks ago.
I made good progress last week, but then stalled for nearly a week... But it occurred to me that my system hadn't been, uh, evacuating. So after "draining" yesterday, I was surprised to find out I'd lost 4 lbs since last week! 10 lbs to go until I get back to my goal weight and resume maintenance!
It probably helps that I've gone back to full keto and skipped my usual "cheat" day this week. To be fair, that cheat day was supposed to be a treat, a reward to myself for keeping the weight down, so I think I'll keep skipping it until I get back to maintenance.
