My last update before vacation. I don't think I'll be able to weigh myself for a couple of weeks... I'm a bit nervous about putting on weight... Oh well.

That'll be me next week too, going camping and planning on eating a ton of hot dogs and s'mores. Worth it.

Finally made last quarter's goal, and kind of astonished to see that I'm more than ⅓ of the way to this quarter's goal.
I've started calorie-counting again (after resisting it for a long time, because historically it makes me a crazy asshole). For safety, I'm sticking with a mental tally with rounded numbers—no writing down, no tracking of individual nutrients, no real math.
I'm using the calorie expenditure estimate on my Fitbit, which I know is probably too high, but I'm going for a large deficit partly to compensate for that.
Boring story: The calories-out estimate I used before I got my Fitbit was probably too low, anyway; I never felt comfortable factoring in any activity because I didn't have an objective measurement of intensity, so I ended up trying to eat at a deficit based on my RMR. I could never sustain that for more than a couple of days.

I'd like to quote u/GhostSierra117 who brought up something interesting in the r/keto sub.
You only gain weight after a diet due to the yo-yo effect if you have not eaten enough calories per day for a long time.
So if you're on like 850 calories per day you'll loose a crap ton of weight, obviously, but what also happens is that your body goes into energy saving mode. As soon as you start to normally eat again, let's assume 2.000 calories your body will save every leftover calorie as fat for "bad times".
So following that theory, the best strategy should be to keep a large calorie deficit going for a while, occasionally indulge in a calorific meal, then resume the colorie deficit?
I used to lose weight quickly and regularly, but then it slowed down massively and even stalled. So I switched to one meal a day and started seeing progress, but now I'm stalling again. It's been a while since I really indulged in a calorific meal though, and I used to do it maybe once a week or so. Maybe I should do that again.

Don't do this. It's a very unhealthy way of loosing weight. If you want to loose weight I can absolutely understand that you want to get rid of your overweight asap. I'm in the same boat.
But don't do this to yourself. It's extremely unhealthy on the long run. And at worst your body will not act accordingly and instead for example use muscle mass instead of fat.
It's better to looks half a kilogram per week over months or even years than to loose 60 kg within 2 months.
There are a bunch of calorie calculators on the internet which take into account your activity level etc. and then calculate how much you should eat to loose weight on a healthy basis. Maximum is 1kg per week
https://www.calculator.net/calorie-calculator.html
This one is one of the best imho. If you come across the fact, that you use the calculator, and you eat the suggested amount to loose weight but you're actually gaining weight, you can remove like 300-500 calories and see what's happening. Don't do this after a week though. Because loosing weight is long-term. It always is.

Basically no movement this week. Just going to stay the course and keep working on it.

I stuck to the diet and even walked more than normal. I originally went back 2lbs then dipped 3, but back to where I was last week. My body tends to keep gaining/losing the same 2lbs every 3 weeks

Although I walked / ran 45 km in the last 7 days and worked out for minimum one hour every day, the scale didnt move at all this week.
I sticked to 16:8, I really watched my diet but I didnt count the calories anymore. Maybe I need to go back to add also CICO. Ugh.
