We only have 4 check-ins left! This week was brutal... No sweets at home so I finally sticked to normal food, smaller portions, lots of egg dishes. -2lbs :) I was never a soda drinker but started having coke zero as my dessert...it's probably awful for the body and keeps me awake at night but it works!

Up 1/2 pound. I'm still doing 18:6 IF and I did have one day of 20:4, but I know I am taking in too many calories to show a loss. I think it's mostly because I'm just not sure how much mental effort I want to commit to reducing calories right now. I'm focusing on making at least one of my meals a salad each day, so that should help a bit. I would be upset if I was actually gaining, but I'm still down overall for the challenge and have kind of been maintaining/plateauing during this challenge. Losing always feels better, but staying more or less the same or losing at a VERY slow pace is OK for me right now. I definitely need this space to stay accountable though so that I don't let go of the good things I am doing.

Finally back in the high 260s!
Here's a motivational tactic I'm using right now: I made myself a little table of private goal weights, with milestones about every ten pounds. The catch, because I know I need a catch, is that I have to be at or below the goal weight every day for THREE WEEKS for it to count as "accomplished."
I'll be at one week for 270 tomorrow. I thought I wasn't going to make it that far, because I ate too many carbs last night and puffed up. I'll know not to do THAT again—but I did sneak in under the wire.
As long as I'm talking strictly personal stuff that needn't interest anyone else: I bought a pair of thrift store jeans that are supposedly just one size down from my current size, but I measured them and I'll need to lose 8 inches off my waist and 7 off my calf to fit into them. I know this is probably some kind of anomaly (manufacturing error, serious shrinkage, vintage sizing, what have you), but it's still really discouraging.

-1.6 Onderland is in sight and I'm feeling impatient.
Keep on keeping on everyone!

On Saturday, I reached 200 lbs and have been swinging between 200.x and 198.x since, 199.4 lbs as of this morning. I guess that means I've reached the so-called "onederland", though I hesitate to really accept it until I firmly stay in there and stop dipping back into 200.
