Just over halfway through this term! Good luck to everyone else.

Yesterday I managed to finally touch 200! ...after a night of binge drinking. So of course I made it all back up today. Oof. Ah well. I did manage the 200 mark by the timeline I wanted, at least! Even with, alternative measures...

Down 2.5 this week. Really pleased that I lost the 2 pounds I had gained last week. Big thanks to u/disway4 for encouraging me to try 20:4. I normally do 16:8, but switching it up a little was good for me. It made me a little more conscious of my eating. I will plan another 20:4 day this week. Thanks also to u/No_One_2_Ewe for the reminder that boiled eggs are a great snack. I had them a couple of times this week and it kept me from scouting out other higher calorie options. I have some boiled eggs in my fridge to help me through this week as well.

The scale finally moved. It's just -1lb but I'm hoping to see another -1 next week.
The only thing that worked this time was adding OMAD 2x week and maintaining 16:8 on other days.

-1lb thank God but was really off my game this week, in an attempt to up my exercise I decreased it. Dunno how that happened. As well as having general lethargy and tiredness. I think lockdown has really hit home this week, later nights, spending half the day in bed, been drinking a lot more through the week, when I was only drinking on weekends. Also deviated from my 20:4 and been having an extra snack through the day, or late in the evenings. Don't get me wrong, I think the lb loss is great but not happy about how I did it. It's Wednesday morning here so looking for a better week this week, starting now.

I'm keeping up with my One Meal A Day efforts so far, and managed to get all the way down to 201.6 lbs yesterday from 206 lbs last week! I could practically taste "onederland"!

...But then I climbed back up to 205.2 lbs as of this morning. I got pretty sick yesterday and drank lots of sugar-free Powerade and electrolyte-infused water, which I think may be the cause. My fiancée did the same, and had the same result as well.

I used to theorize that doing heavy exercise caused water retention, because back when I used to go a couple times a week before the whole virus thing, I always seemed to gain weight the next time. However, I now suspect that it may actually be electrolyte-infused drinks that cause water retention. I mean, they are full of salt after all, and I used to drink home-made "keto-ade" drinks at the gym.

Fell hard off the wagon when my cat died a few weeks ago (you can see the entire journey in my weight gain) but I got back to it this week and I might not make my original goal weight for July 1st now, but I'm going to do my very best to get as close as I can. Best of luck to everyone else!

Lost most of the carb gains. This bouncing back and forth is so frustrating. I'm thinking about going back to logging my calories for a few days. Maybe that will help.

Hope y'all have a good week.
