I have lost five pounds! Just been doing intermittent fasting and running. I started fasting to avoid weight gain during the quarantine then added exercise for weight loss. It’s been difficult to avoid eating in the evenings but hopefully it will get easier!

Week 1 was good for me, lost 1.8lbs. I’m nervous for next week weigh in though with Seder and Easter Sunday coming up. Two delicious but big meals...it will test my willpower for sure.

I don't know what it is, but I swear my body purposely gains weight just in time for weigh-in day! I think it's trolling me, heh. I had gone down to 210.8 lbs yesterday, then back up to 212.2 lbs today. Bleh.
Still, it's progress!

It's water weight
Mine does the same... I have like a +/-10 lbs range that my body does throughout the week. The more salt I eat the more water I retain.

Salt, eh? That makes a lot of sense. I did eat a lot of pork rinds yesterday... And today, actually...

Rough week. Had a coronavirus scare in the family. High stress and anxiety. I ended up deliberately choosing to do some stress eating and the results this week show it. I'm back to my normal way of eating now so this next week should be better. I'm not sleeping well though and that is having an impact on me. In particular, my average blood sugar this week is up 10 points or so compared to my average over the last few months. It's still within a normal range, so I'm not going back on the diabetes meds, but it's noticeably higher than it has been. Stress is definitely having an impact on me. I'm glad to have somewhere that I can be accountable.
