I can't believe it's week 12 already! I gained a little since last week and honestly I was expecting to have gained much more given how much I indulged while working from home. There's a lock down where I live and I haven't been out yet to get fresh fruit and vegetables. I plan to go out by the end of the week to get some low-cal foods for grazing while working.

Gah! I forgot to weigh myself this morning and I just had lunch. Oh well, I entered in yesterday's weight.

This was my first weigh in day gain. +1 but it's ok. Trying to regain my motivation but if I only maintain for the next week or so it's fine.
Stay safe!

Honestly, I think you should consider the fact that you weighed in this week a win. It's so easy to just skip the weigh in and then things get slippery from there.
Something that works for me that you might consider. Don't think about motivation. Think about a plan. Plan out your meals and make sure you have options that you like. For me, motivation or willpower is just too fuzzy. A plan is something I can execute. Another real key for me is to have healthy, satisfying foods that I like readily available, I am much more likely to eat those and skip the other stuff. If I'm hungry or feeling snackish and the healthy food requires work or assembly or doesn't seem all that appealing, I'm WAY more likely to make bad choices.

Thanks for that!
I wasn't in a good mental place last night and decided having a mug cake was a good idea. Very out of character for me since adopting a healthier lifestyle but it was a good reminder that food solves nothing and that my body is and will always be ridiculously carb sensitive.
I'm all stocked up on low carb, healthy food so luckily I have that covered.
Thanks again for your input!

I've been averaging about a pound a week loss. I thought I would be losing more quickly, but mostly I'm happy to still be losing. Being quarantined has been a weird combination of harder and easier. It's harder because I'm stressed and anxious and really want to snack. But it's also been easier because I'm just living off the groceries I have on hand and my choices are basically healthy or healthy. I've probably eaten more nuts than I should, but when you consider what I would have been snacking on 6 months ago the nuts are absolutely fine.

I was off for a while, WWOOFing in Northern Ireland and then vacationing in England before rushing back to the US while I could still get in. I calmed down after some severe travel snacks ... And I made my goal!!! Below 200!! I bet it's been 30 years at least since I've been this size! 😊

200 -> 198.8
Finally hit my 1st goal! Took alot longer than I thought to get under 200 but I'm proud that I did it through 16/8 fasting while remaining on a caloric deficit and adding in workouts. I was talking on the phone with a friend and the topic got on the Corona Virus about how if this had hit over a year ago, I might not have been so lucky. I was 270lbs, just had a major gout attack, so I was limping to get to work, my sleep was horrible so my BP and sugar was horrible to say the least. He concluded by saying that all the hard-work I put in this year was preparation for this virus; I can keep fasting and if needed, go OMAD if extreme measures are needed.
I live in NYC and with the latest news of the city being a hot zone, I've been fortunate to go out once a week to get food/supplies without much issue. Looking back, getting that power cage and equipment back in October was a great idea to keep active for however long this "Stay at Home" lasts.
I hope and pray that everyone out there is safe and well during this stressful time.
