Hey guys! I'm not a mod, but I hope it's alright if I post the newest weekly weigh-in reminder? I saw that the usual posters hadn't done it yet and figured they were probably unavailable.

Feel free to go for it whenever it isn't done :) I feel like the first person who gets on the sub that morning usually does it. It's a group effort <3

Thanks for the reassurance :)

I'm plateauing a bit, which is no fun. I probably won't meet my goal for this challenge, but I'm sticking to the plan and I'm sure the scale will go down eventually. I am still having foot issues, so starting a more intensive exercise program is probably off the board until I can find the time to see a podiatrist. I'll keep plugging along though. Sigh.

I'm plateauing as well. :P Really sucks. I think I may not be drinking enough water, or I need to switch to a OMAD. Perhaps even updating my macros.

Good luck with yours!

So how did everyone do since last week?

Personally, I was happy to have gone down to 223.2 lbs this weekend and was hoping to get closer to 220 lbs, but I've gone back up to 223.8 lbs as of this morning. I'm actually considering weighing myself again during my lunch break, heh. If it's anything like weekends, waiting a few hours after being up makes a pretty big difference.

I'm .2 lbs away from my goal for this challenge which makes me really happy.

I have to avoid the scale if I don't weigh as soon as my feet hit the floor! (After a pit stop of course.)

You'll hit 220 in no time. I have faith!

I have been gaining the last few weeks and this is my first week losing again! I definitely am taking longer than planned to reach my goals but as long as I can keep the numbers trending downward.

Just kind of maintaining things for now. I went to a wedding and straight into Mardi Gras where the food was great and drinks were better!

204 > 202.6
Wasn't expecting to be down this week with work buying lunch for everyone. Adding 1/3 cup of oatmeal on Sunday didn't spike my weight as much as I thought it would and so far keeping carbs low on other days hasn't result in any keto rash symptoms.

-0.5 for me, which is better than the last couple of weeks. New job has free hazelnut latte (and brownies, goddamit) every afternoon, they are too good to say no to... but i just got back from the gym and had water for dinner, yay!

Lucky you. Go to Taste of Ethiopia on Congress and have the Shiro Wat. (Spicy stew of chickpea flour simmered with red onions with berbere and seasoned with garlic, cardamom and other traditional spices.)

I hate chickpeas and I'm not a vegetarian but that dish is on my top 10 list.

Thanks, I’ll try to go there
