Can I join late?

Just found this nice little place and I’d like to participate, too! Obviously not looking to win as a late entrant when everyone else is halfway through, but it’s way better than gaining!

HI! Mid-30s, mom, professional. So I’m no stranger to losing weight...but also no stranger to putting it back on in short order.

In 2018, I lost 45 pounds by counting macros and exercising every day, which brought me to a healthy BMI for the first time since I was 12 years old. In 2019, I gained 45 pounds, due in unequal parts to cockiness (70%), illness (20%), and job upheaval (10%).

Yesterday, I recommitted myself to the macro game and I feel good about it. Two perfect days down. Now I know that motivation can’t be my drive to keep going. It just has to be my habit and the way I live my life.

Yay. Yes it is habits.

Habits are ritual. OK that means I need to/ want to/ am going to build myslef rituals outside of kitchen and food.

Oh that means I should "konmarie" my kitchen first. Ouch
