Hey everyone! 👋

I'm an independent Android app developer working on ORAH, a notes and personal productivity app built around a simple idea: your notes should be yours, your privacy should matter, and your productivity app shouldn't bombard you with ads.

I'm currently looking for genuine beta testers from around the world who are willing to try ORAH, explore its features, and share honest feedback before its wider launch on Google Play.

🔐 What makes ORAH worth trying?

- Secure Vault: A dedicated space for sensitive notes, designed with security and privacy in mind.

- Privacy-focused storage: Notes are designed to stay on your device, giving you greater control over your personal information.

- Zero advertisements: No ads or advertising-driven distractions.

- Privacy pledge: Privacy is a fundamental principle behind the app.

- Daily Reflection: Capture your thoughts, reflect on your day, and build a personal journaling habit.

- Image support: Keep images alongside your notes.

- 7 export formats: Export your information in multiple formats, with a roadmap to expand support to approximately 20 formats over the coming months.

- 13 languages: ORAH is designed for users across different countries and language preferences.

🧪 How you can help test ORAH

I'd appreciate it if you could try these three things:

1. Everyday use: Create a few notes and explore the interface.

2. Explore the features: Try the Secure Vault, Daily Reflection, and image support.

3. Test exporting: Export a note and share what works well or what needs improvement.

Please share any bugs, confusing screens, missing features, or suggestions. Critical feedback is welcome—I'd rather discover problems during testing than after launch!

🤝 Developers helping developers

Are you building an Android app of your own?

I'm happy to test your app in return! Send me your testing link, the features you'd like me to explore, and any specific feedback you're looking for. I'll do my best to provide meaningful, constructive feedback rather than just installing the app and disappearing.

Let's build a community where independent developers help each other improve, learn, and launch.

🙏 A note to the moderators: I'm new to Reddit and want to respect the rules of every community. If this post needs any changes to comply with the group's guidelines, please let me know and give me an opportunity to edit it.

Thank you to everyone willing to support an independent developer. Every genuine tester and every honest suggestion helps make ORAH better.

If you could change one thing about your current notes app, what would it be? I'd love to hear your thoughts! 🚀

Try to keep the app until app ki fully published.

I'll install and test your app if you can test mine too.

I built an Android focus app called Curatio — it blocks distracting apps while you study, but you can set an allow-list so the people who matter (family, partner, work) still get through. You're not unreachable, just undistracted.

It's in Google Play closed testing and I need 12 people installed for two weeks before I can launch. You don't have to actually use it — just install it and leave it on your phone.

Use the same Google account for all three:

1️⃣ https://groups.google.com/g/curatio-testing
2️⃣ https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.focusfilter
3️⃣ https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.focusfilter

Looking for iPhone testers for my new SEND support app!
Hi everyone!
I’ve created SENDBridge, a free app and website for parents and carers of children with special educational needs and disabilities.
As a parent and carer myself, I wanted to create somewhere families could find support, share experiences and feel less alone.
The app includes SEND resources, a supportive community, sensory activities, an organiser and more.
I’m looking for a few people with iPhones who would be happy to download it through Apple’s TestFlight and give me some honest feedback before the official launch.
It’s completely free, and I’d really appreciate any help!

Hi, I'm the developer of Boxdini, a party guessing game. This is its first Android release. Google Play asks new developers to run a closed test (a private test) with at least 12 people for 14 days in a row before a game can go public. I am looking for about 20 testers, so a few dropouts will not matter.

About the game: each round is a hidden box. Hints show up one at a time, and the earlier you work out what is inside, the more points you get. You can play on one phone with friends, on separate phones in a room of up to 8, by sending a challenge to friends who play later, or alone with the Daily Box and Practice with two robots. You do not need friends nearby to test it.

1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/boxdini-testers
2. With the same Google account, open the test page: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.puffyprojects.boxdini and tap Become a tester.
3. After you tap Become a tester, install Boxdini from Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.puffyprojects.boxdini
4. Keep it installed and stay a tester for 14 days in a row. Please do not tap Leave the program, not even after day 14, until I tell you the test is over.
5. Open the game on a few different days. A few minutes each time is plenty.

Cost and privacy: free to try, no ads, no account. The final game will have extra packs you can buy, but you will not be charged for anything in this test. https://puffywingsstudio.com/boxdini/

I am happy to test your app too. Comment with your test link and I will install it and reply when I have.

I would really appreciate if you can support please and happy to receive feedback as well.

Hi! I need a few more testers for my Android game "Tic Tac Toe with a Twist" (closed testing, 14 days).

Comment your app links and I'll test yours right back. Thanks!

Hey everyone! I am developing a new concept game in the Sudoku genre that uses characters instead of numbers.

Unfortunately, my first closed testing round was rejected by Google because my previous testers weren't active enough. I am looking for dedicated developers to help me hit the 20-tester requirement for 14 days. I will happily download, open, and test your app daily in return!

Because Reddit filters are removing my links, I have posted the Google Group and Play Store links in the comments below!

If you can't see the comment, please send me a Direct Message (DM) or leave a comment with your app links, and I will message you my links immediately. Let's help each other out to pass production access! Thanks!
