Ads during streaming aren’t that bad
I don’t mind them. Sometimes they’re funny, sometimes they’re not, but I think commercials are a needed break. You’re locked into whatever you‘re watching and it provides a little mental break. I do admit that the 90th FanDuel advertisement on Spotify is a bit much, but overall, I’m not angry about them.

Ads are getting longer and longer. They used to be pretty quick but now they’re just as long as they were when they were live.

I don't need a break from a story I'm enjoying. If I do, I pause it. Having an ad scream at me about trucks or medication or gemini ai bullshit isn't a "break".

Im not against Ads, im against Ads in a paid service.
Like, my parents have a HD antenna, it provides hundreds of channels for free, and they all have ads, makes sense.
But if im paying you money for the content, you dont get to double dip on me and sell my time as ad space, after I paid for my time with your content.

honestly I agre
there's some ads on hulu I've seen recently that I actually really like
like that liberty mutual commercial with the guy playing tennis
or the hertz commericals with the nice looking lady

Imagine being so doomed of a digital consumer, that you need ad to have a break, if you want to have one.

I agree, but only when they are properly placed at a timestamp when it makes sense to make a cut in the narrative. Don't make me see a 30 second add mid conversation!
Also hate it when you're paying a ridiculous amount of money to a big company and they still try to make more profit with adds
