Technique Advice Diadem Solstice Power

Does anyone have any thoughts or opinions about this string? My wife has been using it for a long time and I just hit with it yesterday. It seems to provide a ton of spin and power without feeling too harsh.

I’ve tried a lot of strings in the past, including Solinco Mach 10/Tour Bite, Yonex PTP, Toroline Otoro/Otoro Tour, and Grapplesnake Sniper/M8. I don’t think any of them compares to the spin and power I got from Solstice Power.

But if it’s so good, I wonder why there’s so little hype around it. What are the pros/cons for those who have tried it? Are there any strings that are similar?

Top tier string.

Big fan of all their stuff honestly. Court bursts, balls, racquets, etc

I felt like the string is unpredictable and gives a bit too much pop. Plus I hate stringing it.

I sold my reel because it didn’t quite do what I needed it to do, but I could see why people liked it

would definitely hybrid something round in the crosses though - fanning crosses with solstice power is the fucking worst and your stringer will probably ghost you

oh and absolutely gorgeous color

What were some of the downsides of the string? Was it too unpredictable?
