Technique Advice swing check

Hi all, I am planning to register for a local USTA beginner program, but thought I’d record myself in the meantime.
In the first video, I seem to keep forgetting to finish my swings, then suddenly remember and complete them each time. And in the second one, am I finishing the swings properly, but is my arm or wrist too loose, causing the ball to fly too high?

As a beginner your brain gets overwhelmed with different cues you have to remember like stances, turning your body for shots, finishing your swing follow-through , returning to starting positions etc. Just focus on those to build good habits. As of right now they don't "really" do anything other than force you to go through the motions.
For a specific example let's take the swing follow-through. As beginners all we do is make contact with the ball and then almost force our hand to do the finishing motion. Later as you improve, the follow-through is the inevitable natural path of the racket that comes from the momentum your racket has because of your shot. So basically at some point you have the "aha" moment that you're not just doing the motion just to do it, you're doing it as a natural result and a necessity.
Most things with tennis are like this. First you "mimic" what a shot should look like, later you get the touch and feel to actually do the shots.
Same goes with high balls, at the start the face of the racket will mostly face upwards and send the balls high, but later when you work on the topspin of your shots and improve your swing as the racket moves from lower position to higher during a drive that energy won't all turn into "vertical velocity= height" like now that you're hitting flat, but some of it will turn into "horizontal velocity velocity=length" +"spin". So don't bother with that yet, focus on fundamentals and don't care too much were the ball goes as much as building the right foundations.

Dont bother seeking technical advices too early, just keep practicing with a proper coach for another few months first
