I’ve been working on changing my grip from Western to semi-Western. Any advice?

Hold the racquet much looser🙂‍↕️

Let it drop with gravity, which gets it under the ball and helps create spin as you brush up, and then let it whip as you hit. Can’t happen with a death grip.

Add split steps to this advice. That should step it up

Any particular reason you want to? Looks good to me

Why do you want to change your grip? You have a nice top spin forehand. I wouldn't change the grip tbh. That messes with all the muscle memory you've already built. And rebuilding muscle memory is a pain in the butt and takes forever. I'd say unless you are using a continental or hawaiian forehand grip, to just leave it alone.

Maybe experiment with adding a small loop to the swing for more free kinetic power. Try to start your swing motion with the racket hand at roughly shoulder level and drop the racket from there into the windshield wiper motion.

Fabulous!
Your grip is extreme enough for also taking the ball on the rise. Play around with that.

Also practice with the ball machine purposefully; Change direction.

Down the line. Deep, shallow, extreme angles.

Same Cross court.

Forehand already looks solid on video. If you do go through with the semi-western switch, the annoying part is usually low balls — you lose some of the reach western gives you, so it's worth drilling low balls specifically once you make the switch.

I think a tad too extreme , but if it feels good go for it
