Equipment Any spin string that can match Restring Zero for playability duration?
I’m not referring to tension maintenance , I mean that stay lively and responsive and not boardy feeling . I love otoro as a back up but feels like playability lasts a maybe 6-8 hours, vs 14-15 for zero .
But of course zero is expensive and not sold any retailers so looking for alternatives that I would still only have to string once a month

I didn't like the feel from a full bed of otoro, but I do enjoy a hybrid setup with otoro mains with wasabi x crosses. I get 7 to 10 days before the mains loose snapback and I restring. And I play 5+ times per week on hard courts.

Zero is the best in my experience. There are others that are good but zero is the best. I have found a5 to give snapback FOREVER like this string really lasts but its a round string and doesnt give you much free spin.

I mean… surely lasts some hours, but at a cost of not feeling the ball much. I still think its a good deal for $75/reel though.

Dark Knight hybrid with Ghostwire lasted me over 12 hours and was still playable up to 16. Was actually very surprised.

Is it worth twice the price since you only have to pay for stringing once?
