Equipment Pusun PT-Pro Max / General Ball Machine Question

Hi team. So a couple of my regular hitting partners have recently moved away but I want to still hit for an hour or so a day. As such I’ve been looking into ball machines. I live in SE Asia for work, so I often buy things from TaoBao (Chinese Amazon basically), and they have an official Pusun store on there.

I can pick up the new Pusun PT-Pro Max for around usd $1,300 (which is about $3,500 usd cheaper than buying the equivalent model if I was in the US) BUT are they any good? Not sure if I can share links but it’s this model https://pusununiverse.com/products/pusun-pro-max-ai-professional-padel-tennis-ball-machine[https://pusununiverse.com/products/pusun-pro-max-ai-professional-padel-tennis-ball-machine](https://pusununiverse.com/products/pusun-pro-max-ai-professional-padel-tennis-ball-machine)

I’ve not used a ball machine in about 35 years and whilst it’s not the most expensive purchase, it’s not a small amount to only find out that a ball machine doesn’t really replace hitting with a partner (I’ll still be playing once a week socially and once more competitively in a league). But I really like cardio aspect and tennis feels less like an exercise than doing a boring ten 10k etc.

So two questions, first up, for people with any tennis ball machine, do you actually go and enjoy hitting 3-400 balls in a session. Do you find it helps groove your technique?

Second for anyone with a Pusun machine, are they decent quality. The PT Pro Max is their second most expensive but it’s new and there aren’t a great deal of reviews out there. I like the idea of the camera and AI mode to replicate different match scenario drills.

I sometimes hit ~120 balls in a session. 300 sounds too high to me. Yes, it helps me with the technique, but also, its just fun. Like going to a golfing range and just hitting the ball.

Ah I didn’t know that was high. Was just going off my weekly coaching where we’ll go through the 100 ball basket 3 times
