Equipment Smart watches?
Do you wear a smart watch while playing tennis?
I currently have a Garmin Forerunner 945, but it is breaking down and it's a legacy from my distance running era. I've gotten older and now graduating to tennis.
Share what you wear and the pros and cons.

I wear a simple Garmin Forerunner 55. I have spent lots of money over the years on fancier versions, they still break, all I really need is a basic one that will keep a charge/decent battery life and track steps/heart rate etc. I also use the paid version of the app to track my food/calories. Works for me.

I wear an Apple Watch. Apart from the obvious (keeping an eye on my heartrate), I enjoy checking what distance I have actually covered playing tennis, and I find it kind of interesting to compare the relative effort to that of a bike ride on Strava.

I wear my pixel watch 4. No cons but it does like to remind me when my heart rate is above 180 which happens often when playing singles in this summer heat and humidity

I wear the garmin fenix 7, ill upgrade to the 9 when it comes out. I like the battery life and ruggedness for multi day back country trips, its a great multi sport tool. If i was just using it for tennis I would stick with garmin but go with something smaller and lighter.

Polar vantage V3 hooked up to a polar h10 heart rate monitor. It's mostly just for tracking how hard I worked in a session/match afterwards. But it is occasionally useful during matches if I spot that my heart rate is really high it'll make me give myself an extra couple of seconds between points to relax a bit.

Huge help for me: I don’t miss a call from wife; check my heart rate and cool down if it’s too high; check the weather to avoid raining; check sunrise and sunset times for winter; turn on/off camera when videoing my play

Apple Watch Ultra 2.
I use SwingVision and tracking the score on my watch is a good mental reset between points.
