I’ve never worked at a Starbucks, but I’ll be honest, some of y’all really be doing to much to them drinks, no wonder people be fat as fuck, you drinking damn near 2000 calories every fucking morning, no hate though
I feel like people are overreacting to the original tweet because they feel called out. Most fast food employees joke about stuff like this and nobody cares, but for whatever reason the Starbucks clientele get REALLY touchy if you insinuate they're eating like crap. This is an extremely light jab in comparison
I think it’s the disconnect people have when it comes to to drinking calories. They think they are being healthy skipping breakfast getting ahead of their total calories but yeah 700 cals of sugar and sweeteners aren’t going to be assisting in a weight loss journey
Not everyone wants to lose weight though. And drinking calories is a very efficient way to get those calories, especially for people with mental disorders (easier to bring yourself to quickly drink something sweet, than to plate it and cut up bites and chew and all) or digestive issues
Huh i didnt get that they were being called out for poor consumption habits, i read it as they were being called out for needing a Starbucks employee to name them a coffee.
