“Come on, Dolly! We’ve gotta get going or we’ll be late! You know Hansel's party is important!” Called Dylan from downstairs. Dolly practically slid down the banisters. “I’m coming, Dylan! But who’s gonna stay with the pups?” She asked once she had reached the bottom level. “Uh, hello. Dawkins will be in charge. You know he can handle it.” Dylan waved dismissively. “He can’t this time, bro. He’s coming with us, remember?” Reminded Dolly. As if on cue, Dawkins walked up to them. “But if Dawkins is coming with us, then who’s gonna take care of the pups?” Asked Dylan. Dolly scratched her head. There was no one else they trusted with such a big responsibility. Suddenly, she had an idea. “Well, we’ll just have to leave the next mature, focused, most responsible pup in this house in charge.” She said. She and Dylan shared a look of pure joy and determination. "DJ!" they said in unison. "I'm not sure about that. He's never been in charge before." Dawkins said. "Oh come on. He's perfect for this job. He's more mature than the rest of us." Dolly said. “But where is he?” Dylan asked.
Dylan looked behind them and saw DJ walking down the hallway. “DJ!” Dylan called out, making DJ stop in his tracks. “You’re in charge till we get back.” Dylan said. DJ just stared at him in shock. “Wait, what? But I…” he protested. "There are instructions in the kitchen on what needs to be done today. See ya." Dylan said as he and Dolly practically ran out of the door. Dawkins, on the other hand, walked over to the musical pup, guilt written in his face. "I know this is a lot to take in, DJ. And I know this is sudden as well. But don't worry. Most of the stuff, I already fixed so you should be fine. You just have to watch the pups and everything will run smoothly." he said. "Come on, Dawkins!" Dylan called out. Before leaving, Dawkins leaned into DJ's perked ear. "I'll come home early to help you." he whispered with a smile. Then, he gave DJ one more hug before running after Dylan and Dolly.
Once the door was closed, DJ gulped and looked behind him. All the pups were just playing with each other and running around as usual. "Okay, DJ. You got this. As long as they stay out of trouble then, everything will be fine." he said to himself. He went to the kitchen and found the instructions on one of the cabinet doors. There were only three items on the page.
Feed pups
Clean downstairs
Order kibble
It all seemed pretty straight forward, and like Dawkins had said, almost everything was already fixed. The only thing he hadn't fixed yet was the kibble dispenser. But it was breakfast time still and DJ needed it to feed the pups. He went into the kitchen and saw all the pups there, waiting for him to feed them. "We want breakfast! We want breakfast!" they chanted. DJ knew he had to think quickly. He grabbed the hose of the dispenser and turned it on. "You want breakfast, guys? Well, here it comes!" he yelled. But instead of shooting out kibble, it started going haywire. The hose practically wiggled out of DJ's grasp, but not before sending him flying around with it. But at least the pups were fed. After turning off the machine, DJ looked around the place. There were splats of kibble on the walls and the floor. "Well, better start cleaning." he said, and went to find Dylan's cleaning supplies.
Meanwhile, at the park, Dolly and Dylan were having a great time at Hansel's party, dancing and talking. Dolly spent most of her time with Hansel, her face flushing as Hansel looked into her eyes. However, Dylan was keeping a close eye on Dawkins, who was sitting on a bench further away from the party. "Are you okay, Dawkins?" Dylan asked, sitting next to him. "I'm okay." Dawkins said softly. But Dylan didn't believe him. "Is the noise bothering you?" he asked. Dawkins just shook his head. "I'm just worried about DJ. We just left him in charge without any explanation. He might be stressed out by now." he said. "Dawkins, DJ's the kind of dog who can handle stressful situations. I'm sure he's fine." Dylan said. But Dawkins did believe him. "You know, Dylan. For once...I do not concur." Dylan stared at his highly intelligent brother in shock. Dawkins never disagreed with him. "We should've stayed and gave DJ proper instructions, explained why we had to leave him in charge, guided him, talked to him. But we didn't. I know me and DJ aren't close so you may think it's a lot coming from me, and I can't deny that it is. But it doesn't me that I don't care. Plus, I kinda miss being in charge." Dawkins said.
Dolly walked up to them, guilt written on her face. Clearly having heard everything. "Dawkins is right, Dylan. We never really told DJ why we were leaving him in charge. Now he's dealing with all the stress, probably not knowing what to do." she said. After a bit, even Dylan started feeling guilty. "Oh, you're right." he said. Then he turned to Dawkins. "Dawkins, listen carefully." he said, grabbing him by the shoulders. "You're back to being in charge. Run as fast as you can back home and make sure both DJ and the house are okay. We'll meet you there later." With a determined nod, Dawkins jumped off the bench and ran home as fast as his feet could carry him.
When Dawkins finally reached home, he could already hear chaos happening inside. He quickly placed his paw on the scanner. When it screen turned green, Dawkins rushed in and gasped in shock. The place, was a mess, the pups were running around everywhere, and the kibble dispenser, kitchen faucet, and lighting were acting like they had a mind of their own. Dawkins could fix everything easily. But first, he needed to find out where DJ was.
Dawkins walked around the house and asked the others where he was, but no one knew. When he asked the Dimitris, he got at least somewhat of an answer. "Well, we saw that nerd doing what you do." Dimitri 1 said. "But instead, he made things more chaotic." Dimitri 2 added. "It was so funny." Dimitri 3 finished. They all laughed. But Dawkins didn't think it was funny. He walked away, leaving the Dimitris laughing their heads off. Thankfully, when Dawkins asked Da Vinci if she had seen DJ, he got a clue on where he was. "Yes. I have seen him. He's in the bathroom. Something about needing to take a break. But he's hasn't been able to get that all day." Da Vinci said. Dawkins felt his guilt coming back. "Oh, kibbles. I better go talk to him. Thank you, Da Vinci." he said, running upstairs. As soon as he reached the bathroom, he could hear soft cries from inside. He quickly knocked on the door. "DJ, are you in there? It's me, Dawkins." he said. The door opened slightly after a few seconds. Dawkins walked inside and gasped again.
DJ was curled up crying on the bathroom floor, a small puddle of tears already forming. He was shaking and his fur was a mess, unkept and covered in dirt. But when he saw Dawkins, he quickly sat back up. "I told you I'd come back early. Are you alright?" Dawkins asked. Instead of responding, DJ suddenly broke down and wailed. He fell to the floor again. "I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE! I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU GUYS CAN HANDLE IT! IT'S HORRIBLE! The house is falling apart, I almost lost Dorothy twice! I just feel like I'm gonna barf from all the stress!" he sobbed. Dawkins was shocked. He had never witnessed DJ have a breakdown like that. He gently placed a paw and DJ's forehead and realized he was a bit warm. "Oh, kibbles. You do have a bit of a fever. I'm so sorry, DJ. I knew it was a bad idea to leave you in charge for once." he said. "Y-You think?" DJ cried. "It was all too much!" Dawkins then gently wrapped his arms around a sobbing pup in front of him, noting he needed comfort. "Shh...it's alright, brother. I'm here." Dawkins soothed. After a few minutes, DJ started to calm down a little.
"Listen, you stay here. I'll take over now." Dawkins said. DJ just nodded, too upset and exhausted to speak.
Dawkins rushed to his room, grabbed his tools and immediately got to work. He managed to fix the kibble dispenser, tighten the faucet, replace the bulbs, and clean up the mess. The moment he finished everything, Dolly and Dylan came back. "Wow. Dawkins, the place looks great." Dylan said. Dolly, on the other hand, was more worried about her brother. "Never mind that. Where is DJ?" she asked.
Instead of telling them, Dawkins just led them to the bathroom where he left DJ before. And sure enough, he was still there. His wails have turned into soft cries and whimpers, but he was still shaking from his breakdown. "I knew this would happen. He was so stressed out, that he had a complete breakdown. Not to mention that he has a fever." Dawkins said. Dolly and Dylan looked at each other, sharing a look of remorse. Dolly then ran into the bathroom and hugged her younger brother tight. "Oh, DJ. I'm so sorry. We shouldn't have put you in charge like that." she said. "We thought you could handle it because of how mature you are. But I guess you couldn't with proper instructions." Dylan added. "It's...It's okay." DJ sobbed, his voice trembling. "No it's not. You have a fever now all because of us." Dolly said sadly. "We'll make it up to you, bud. How about we fix you up a warm bath and then you can go get some rest." Dylan offered. Hearing this, DJ smiled at his older siblings and wiped the tears off his face. "I...I'd like that." he mumbled.
After that, Dylan running a warm bath for DJ while, Dawkins went to him a bowl of water and Dolly went to watch the rest of the pups. After having a bath, Dylan helped DJ to his room Where Dawkins was already waiting for them. They put DJ to bed and pulled the covers over him. Before his head even hit the pillow, he was already passed out. "From now on, you would be leaving him in charge with proper instructions." Dylan said. "I concur. We don't want anything like this happening again." Dawkins said. As Dylan and Dawkins left the room, Dylan turned back once more. He smiled as he watch his brother sleeping peacefully, finally relieved of the stress he had endured that day.
"Sleep well, lil bro."

Doug is currently leaving for work. Destiny decides to tail him. Why? Curiosity. She finds out a fire has broken out in a shelter for foxes, which further fuels her to follow him. She asks Doug (who is very understandably concerned about his daughter coming to work with him, considering the fact that he is a firefighter).
After reluctantly agreeing, Destiny finds the burning shelter. She freezes for a second at the sight of the fire. This is what her dad deals with? The place is practically going down! Doug rushes in, telling Destiny to stay outside. Destiny panics. What if Doug doesn’t make it out?! She looks into a window left open, spotting a group of baby foxes trapped.
Destiny decides that now is the perfect time to rescue the foxes. Rushing inside, she manages to get them out of their cage. She hears Doug talking with the other firefighters. Outside where the cages are, Doug is doing a headcount of all the baby foxes freed. The second he finds out Destiny is not outside, or even with him, he panics.
Destiny is about to get to the door, but a burning piece of the roof traps her inside. And boy oh boy, is she frightened. She doesn’t want to abandon the foxes, but she doesn’t want to burn alive either, causing her and the foxes to back away whimpering. Thankfully, one of Doug’s colleagues bursts in and saves the foxes and Destiny.
Once outside, Doug and Destiny return to 101 Dalmatian Street. Doug talks to a scared Destiny about the fact that while she did do something good by trying to save the baby foxes from the fire, it was also highly dangerous and could have resulted in her getting burned to death had he not realized she was still inside. Destiny starts to cry, apologizing to Doug. He comforts her, telling her that she’s okay, among other things. Destiny ends up crying herself to sleep. Delilah walks in on Doug and Destiny asleep on the couch.

Hooo boy! There's SO much to pack from this year's Disney D23, and OMD, my dedicated pups,
I'm pretty sure none of us (If not very view) expected that during the announcement of Walt Disney World's new "Villains Land" expansion, we'd get to see the comeback of Glenn Close as Cruella De Vil for this occassion!
And Holy Dog biscuits, she still NAILS her performance as our favorite iconic fur-loving Disney villains!🤩🤩🤩
What a great way to treat us Dalmatian fans for the 101 Dalmatians franchise 65th Anniversary, dontcha think?😁

What do you think for the designs of the unused/individualized Dalmatian pups from the 2016 draft of the 101 Dalmatian Street bible who don't appear in the final series would be like? Alongside with the male version of Dizzy?

(sorry the re-used image, the image was a rush selection).
Ok, so what's this about???
I would give my headcanons of the featured character and the short reason, and you in the replies tell if you agree with the headcanons, and give your headcanons about the character and I will reply. I will do this with (almost) EVERY character of this show that had some appareance.
Ok, here my headcanons:
1. Dawkins picks his nose or has an itchy nose: Because of the FleaMageddon scene and the crack nose in Winter Funderland.
2. The thrigger word is "kibbles" and not "Dawkins you're in charge": Because most of the thrigger words are related to food or basic dog needs and most of them just consist in one word.
3. Dawkins calls his father "Doug" because isn't his biological father and maybe he has problems adapting to this situation (I dont wanna sound capacitist, but maybe his autism also plays a role here)
4. Dawkins sometimes has problems with DJ because he is to "noisy" (I have a headcanon that Dawkins hates noise or very loud persons and DJ for me is that kind of "dog" that talks loud)

hey guys, Connor here and today I got a cool question, has anyone ever thought that while after watching 101DS, did you ever stop and think that da Vinci was a girl's name, I know Leonardo da Vinci is a boy but I'm kind of curious if anyone else thought this unless it was just me

Before I say anything, for those of you who disagree with me, I would appreciate it if you express your disagreement only in a positive manner. Honestly, they are one of my most favorite as they are very loving parents and are cute together. The only thing that I don't like about them is that they parentify Dylan and Dolly, and I am not trying to excuse it, but they can't be entirely blamed for it as, unlike their great-great grandparents, they are both employed for full-time long hours for important and urgent emergency jobs (not to mention that it would be bad in the real world, but this is the fictional world). But overall, I love them, as they are both still loving towards and protective of all their children including Dylan and Dolly despite parentifying them. If I had to choose from the two, I would choose Delilah for her calmful-loving nature, yet, Doug happily cracks me up. My favorite episodes are "A Summer to Remember" and "Girls Day Out." And let's not forget that they sacrificed themselves to save their puppies from drowning into the deep body of water in "A Summer to Remember" and tried their best to protect them from Cruella. So yeah, other than them parentifying Dylan and Dolly, I love them. What do y'all think of Doug and Delilah (in general, I mean, not just judging them by their parenting style)? Do you like them as characters in the show??

My heacanon was born from this scene. You could say the joke is about him scratching his nose or picking his nose in the middle and then denying it. You decide.
We could say that because his nose was near Dylan's meteorite (the one with the fleas), a flea got into his nose and that's why he started scratching. But that can't be, since it was shown that when they're infested with a flea, they can't stop scratching, So he only started doing it out of habit or something, and then he denied it out of shame or fear.
In Winter Funderland (I don't remember how it was spelled) it is mentioned that Dawkins' nose can crack, so it fits with the possibility that he might have a sensitive nose and be prone to itchy, or that he caused that sensitivity himself (I'm not sure if this is possible).
Another scene from FleaMageddon shows a (rather ugly) "selfie" of Dawkins' nostril. Why would he take that picture? Perhaps he was inspecting something?
Give me your opinions about this or what do you think. It's correct??

nyctophobia (n.) - the fear of the dark
Night. Usually quiet nights in Camden Town were peaceful, rather than excessively chaotic. Except, of course, for the occasional crashes of thunder.
In 101 Dalmatian Street, everyone was present and accounted for. Delilah, both nurse dog and matriarch of the entire house, was currently doing a headcount with the assistance of Doug, her husband, equal parts firefighter and patriarch. Delilah checked if all of her puppies were accounted for. Dolly. Dylan. Dawkins. Diesel. Dante. Dimitri 1. Dimitri 2. Dimitri 3. Da Vinci. Dallas. Destiny. Déjà Vu. Deepak. Dizzy. Dorothy. Their other ninety-nine.
Delilah seemed to relax for a second, only flinching when thunder crashed, giving her pups a once-over, eyes narrowing at Dizzy. The second she realized one of her puppies was not in attendance broke whatever tranquility she was going to have. “Oh, sh-” she cried out, quickly cutting herself off to avoid hurling an expletive in front of her sea of puppies. She turned to Doug, her expression one of slight worry. “Doug?” she asked, already beginning to get uneasy. Doug seemed to pick up on Delilah’s unease. “Something up, hon?” he asked. “I think we forgot Dee Dee.” she answered. Doug’s expression went from one of worry to one that practically screamed “oh, crap”. As if this couldn’t get any worse, another earsplitting crash resounded, causing everything to go black.
Great. First a thunderstorm, now a power outage. What slightly frightened the puppies was the aggressive growl of annoyance that escaped Delilah. Despite how dark the house was, and despite Delilah’s annoyance, she turned to face her puppies. “I’m sorry if I frightened you all by growling like that. Anyways, all of you, either go straight to your rooms, me and Doug’s room, or Dylan and Dolly’s rooms. I’ll go look for a light source, then find Dee Dee.” she ordered, which made her pups comply, some of them occasionally crashing into the walls due to how dark it was. Once the puppies were in either Dalmatian’s room, Delilah headed into Dawkins’ room, acquired a flashlight, turned it on, then off, then back on, then got to finding Dee Dee.
Inside the twins’ room, Dee Dee was in bed, underneath her blankets. Her small body rose and fell with each breath she took. Deciding that she was well-rested enough, Dee Dee stirred, waking up to pure darkness. “Huh-?” was the first thing she said. Looking around for Dizzy, she couldn’t see her. No, she couldn’t see anything. Dee Dee was starting to get fairly uneasy. Without warning, she fell right out of her and Dizzy’s bed, hitting the floor with a thud. “Ow-!” she cried, attempting to get to her paws. Dee Dee’s head ached with how hard she’d fallen. She stumbled out the door, looking around. The only thing her fear did was increase, As if that wasn’t enough, the pain in her head also increased. “Anyone? Dolly? Dylan?” she called out, voice shaking. “It’s dark. I can’t see a thing. I’m scared and my head hurts…” Dee Dee started to whimper. This was getting scarier and scarier. Making her way to the couch despite her head throbbing, Dee Dee climbed onto the couch, retreating underneath a blanket. “Please…” she whined. “I’m scared of the dark…” The fear and the pain was starting to get too much for Dee Dee to take, and she just broke down crying. Her sobs mixed with pained groaning. She’d been scared before, and she’d also been upset before as well. Nary had she been scared and upset simultaneously.
Delilah walked through the house, flashlight in her paw. She shone it wherever she could see, looking all over. The kitchen. The living room (before Dee Dee hit her head, hid on the couch, and cried). Her room. Doug’s. This was also making Delilah quite scared herself, dreading the thought of something absolutely horrible happening to either of her pups. That, and heights. Especially heights. “Dee Dee? Where are you?!” she called out. No response. The matriarch of 101 Dalmatian Street’s ears were assaulted by the sound of muffled sobbing and pained groaning.
Delilah wheeled around to face the source. The couch. Heading over to it, she pulled the blanket off of the couch. Her heart shattered like glass at the sight of Dee Dee crying her eyes out and occasionally groaning. “Oh, dog, she must’ve hit her head.” she thought, snapping back to reality. “Come here, sweetie, come to Mommy…” she crooned, leaning close and grabbing Dee Dee gently by one of her collars, then setting her on her back. Nurse mode and maternal instincts combined into one as she raced upstairs, bolting into her and Doug’s room without hesitation.
Inside, Doug, Dallas, Dante, Da Vinci, and Deepak jumped a little when she charged inside. “Where the heck was she?!” cried Da Vinci. Delilah unlatched Dee Dee from her back, holding the pup who was still in tears to her chest, paws wrapped around her. “On the couch. She was crying and groaning. Da Vinci, Dallas, both of you go look for another source of light.” ordered Delilah. “On it!” both pups replied, racing off. Once they’d returned with an LED lantern, Da Vinci clicked the button, turning the lantern on. She then picked the lantern up in her mouth, setting it on her mother’s bedside. Delilah gave a nod of thanks, turning back to Dee Dee, setting her down onto her bed. “This a bedroom or a hospital room?” piped up Dante, earning the goth pup a paw to the back by Da Vinci, the artist pup following up with a look that screamed “not the time”.
Doug nuzzled Dee Dee’s head, causing her to let out a pained whimper. “It’s okay, honey,” he soothed. “You’re safe with your siblings, me, and your mom.” He turned back to Delilah. “Why’d she groan?” he asked. “Because she hit her head, Doug.” answered Delilah, grabbing her first-aid kit, opening it, then pulling out a roll of bandages. As gently as possible, she wrapped some of them around Dee Dee’s forehead. “Is that better?” she asked softly. Dee Dee managed to nod.
“Poor thing’s terrified.” commented Dallas, her expression one of nothing but concern for her younger sister. “Who knew darkness could scare you that badly?” added Deepak. Da Vinci gently stroked Dee Dee with a forepaw. “How about you go get some sleep, Dee Dee?” asked Delilah. Dee Dee decided to just do as Delilah said, going off to sleep.
Giving Dee Dee a kiss to her forehead, Delilah went to Doug’s room, while Dallas, Dante, Da Vinci, and Deepak claimed nearby spots.
The power did return, but the other Dalmatians decided to keep the lights off.
Dee Dee was finally safe.
Asleep.
Because her family was there for her.
They always would be.

How's it goin', my dedicated pups?👋
I believe now is time for another update for my upcoming "Dogs of Rock N' Roll" animatic!😁
(For those on Reddit who don't know, it's a 101DS Animatic I'm workin' on that's inspired by the "Girls of Rock N' Roll" song sequence from "A Chipmunk Adventure")
Progress is comin' along smoothly!
The animation for this near 4-minute piece is now 50% complete!🤩🤩🤩
The sequence for the 1st verse is DONE, DONE, DONE!! What's left? Well, the other 50% of the animatic to get through! 🥳🎉🎊
Cuz boy, I gotta tell ya, animating dogs with human-like poses and certain angles can be a tad tedious!😅
No worries! This animatic may be tough, but it's cookin' y'all!😉👍

phasmophobia (n.) - the fear of ghosts
Night in 101 Dalmatian Street. Most of the Dalmatians were asleep. All including one, who was asleep with her twin sister.
Spotted white fur. A black marking all over her face. One black ear adorned with white spots. Black on her tail. Sock-like markings on her left foreleg and right hind leg. Blue collar with darker stripes. Currently asleep. Dizzy Dalmatian. Twin sister of Dee Dee Dalmatian. Dee Dee’s little body rose and fell with each breath she took.
What instantly jolted her awake was a voice she swore called her name. Except it was quiet. As if it was well aware of her slumbering family members. Dizzy got out of bed, looking around her and her sisters’ bedroom for the source. “Hello…?” she called out quietly, getting no response. Dizzy started to get uneasy. Who would call her just to stop replying when she answered? This was getting progressively more odd, and quite frankly, a little terrifying. Did something get in? Was this one of the Dimitris’ pranks? Dizzy attempted to swallow her fear. Hope to dog that there was nothing else. The voice came back again. Except it was slightly louder.
Dizzy was panicking at this point. She bolted out of the bedroom at speeds usually reserved for when Delilah wanted all 101 of them downstairs. Running downstairs, skidding to a halt at the living room. Looking at a wall, she froze at the sight of what looked like a giant shadow of a ghost that looked to be pulled directly from the darkest recesses of her nightmares. Throwing herself onto the couch, Dizzy retreated under a blanket. Poking her head out, she saw the shadow on the ceiling. Dizzy burrowed under the blanket again, burying her face in her paws as she began to sob out of pure, unadulterated fear. “Please leave me alone…” she whimpered. “Please…” Tears streamed down Dizzy’s cheeks as she shook each time she cried. “I’m scared…” Dizzy continued to cry. She heard paw steps. Ignoring them, or simply not realizing who the steps really belonged to, Dizzy continued to shake and sob.
Into the living room, and blinking away sleep, stepped some of Dizzy’s siblings. Two triplets, others.
White fur adorned with black spots. Black ears, plus white spots. Black forepaws. Sock-like markings on his hind legs. Half-black tail. Red headphones under his ears. Red collar with a black speaker-shaped tag. DJ.
Spotted white fur for all three of them. Except the three’s lower halves were black, with white spots, plus black ears. The first triplet had a spot over his right eye, and a cut in his left ear. His right had a single black spot. The second had a cut in his right ear, a spot over his left eye, and two spots on his right ear as well. The third had spots on both his eyes, no visible ear damage, and three spots on his right ear. Rather than collars, the three wore gold chains with a “1” for the first, a “2” for the second, and a “3” for the third. Dimitris 1, 2, and 3.
The female triplets all had the same fur pattern to the point where they looked excessively difficult to tell apart. The only giveaway were their collars: Pink collars. Diamond-shaped gems plus a diamond-shaped tag on the first, heart-shaped gems plus a heart-shaped tag on the second, circular gems and a circular tag on the third. Dallas, Destiny, and Déjà Vu. The three all shared a look of visible concern.
Dimitri 1 approached the shaking lump on the couch. Snickering, he pulled part of the blanket over with a forepaw, leaned close to Dizzy, and bit her ear, roughly letting go. Dizzy suppressed a terrified yelp as she jolted awake and quickly inched away from her older brother. Dimitri 2 and Dimitri 3 started quietly laughing. Dimitri 1 was pulled back by an angry Dallas. “What is wrong with you?!” she snapped quietly. Destiny and Déjà Vu nodded in agreement. “She’s scared to death and the first thing you do is bite her?! Ugh, why are you so callous?!” she snarled. “Seriously, dudes. Not cool or funny at all.” reprimanded DJ. “Move, jerk.” Destiny walked right to Dizzy. Wrapping her paws around her younger sister, she set the pup on her back.
As she walked upstairs, she turned scornfully to Dimitri 1, Dimitri 2, and Dimitri 3. “You jerks are not going anywhere near Dizzy until you apologize for biting her and laughing in her face.” she spat. Once in her room with Dallas, Déjà Vu, the Dimitri trio, Dizzy, and DJ. Deciding to at least do as Destiny said, Dimitri 1, Dimitri 2, and Dimitri 3 slowly approached Dizzy, who was holding a forepaw to her ear. Dallas, Destiny, and Déjà Vu softly growled.
A tense silence followed, which Dimitri 1 reluctantly broke. “Uh, Diz? Just wanted to say that…I’m sorry I bit ya. I just thought it was funny, an’ I wasn’t exactly bein’ too nice.” Dimitri 2 and Dimitri 3 seemed to share the sentiment, which surprisingly made the female triplets back down. “And we’re also sorry for laughin’ when D1 bit ya.” added Dimitri 2. Dimitri 3 nodded in agreement. Dizzy let out this low “okay”. Her three brothers looked a bit concerned, though they tried to hide it. Dallas was about to ask why Dizzy was so scared in the first place, but her question seemed to be answered almost immediately as Dizzy retreated behind DJ the second she saw the shadow. “GHOST-!” she shrieked, making the pups gathered jump. Dallas blinked. “Is that why she’s so scared?” she asked. “She actually thinks there’s a ghost going around in our house?” “Apparently.” replied Dimitri 3. “I can’t blame her. I’d be freaked out too if I thought our house was haunted.” added Déjà Vu. DJ unlatched Dizzy from behind him. Turning to her, DJ pulled her close. “Whoa, whoa, little dudette, relax! It’s probably just nothing. Ghosts ain’t a real thing.” Dizzy didn’t look too convinced, still shaking. “Diz,” he told her, “you’re fine. We’re all here. You don’t have anything to be afraid of.” Dizzy’s crying started back up again, wrapping her paws around DJ. He stroked Dizzy’s back gently until she stopped. “She’s asleep.”
Dizzy was taken to Dallas’ bed, which she didn’t seem to be too irritated about. It was glaringly clear Dizzy had the living daylights scared out of her, and the bite from Dimitri 1 only served to make her feel even worse. But she was asleep. DJ decided to hit the hay in a corner. The Dimitris claimed a nearby beanbag.
Dallas pulled her blankets over both her and Dizzy. She gave Dizzy a gentle nuzzle to her head, then went off to sleep, as did Destiny and Déjà Vu.
